Calella de Palafrugell has retained all the charm of a fishing village thanks to the harmony of its buildings . Walking through its coves and rocky areas or visiting its narrow streets , it is easy to remember when from Calella out boatloads of cork manufactured in Palafrugell.

From there it enjoys a magnificent panoramic view of the coastline that runs from Calella to the cliffs of the Cap Roig .

Sant Sebastia Lighthouse is located up the mountain of Sant Sebastià (165 meters) , which separates Llafranc from Tamariu. From there , you can admire one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Costa Brava. The lighthouse is the most important of GolfO de León and one of the most powerful in the Mediterranean.Next to the lighthouse there is a baroque church of Sant Sebastia from the eighteenth century , built on a watchtower from the XV.
TAMARIU Tamariu is perhaps the most quiet and peaceful cove of Palafrugell. This small beach of fine sand and crystal clear waters is the lynchpin of the population , around which have been built houses , apartments , hotels ... On the promenade of Tamariu, the sea , we can enjoy the restaurants and bars with terraces where it is always a pleasure to taste the specialty of the land while enjoying a beautiful view of the bay. By car, following the road to Begur, you will reach the cove of Aigua Xelida and urbanization of the same name , the northernmost end of the municipality of Palafrugell.
BEGUR Begur is located in the Baix Emporda , 200 meters above sea level and only 2 kms from the coast. With an area of about 20 km2 , also includes the village of Esclanyà and borders to the municipalities of Pals ( N ) , Regencós ( W ) and Palafrugell ( W i S ) .The village of Begur currently has 3,000 inhabitants and is one of the most important tourist centers of the Baix Empordá . In summer the population exceeds 40,000 inhabitants and the municipality becomes one of the liveliest spots of Girona coast . The village has become a real business and service center , with a very wide range .
The most prestigious beaches of the Costa Brava are located within the municipality of Begur : Sa Riera , Aiguafreda , Sa Tuna, Platja Fonda, Fornells i Aiguablava . Although its situation might seem that is not a fishing village , the life of its inhabitants has always been closely linked with the sea.
